Stopover in Devonport Auckland

Nun sind meine Tage in Auckland schon wieder um und ich ziehe nach dem Wochenende wieder los. Diesmal Richtung Süden in die Nähe von Putaruru dort ist eine Farm (Waotu South Road 49) im “niemandsland” mit einer Baumschule und einer eigenen Molkerei und grossem Gemüsegarten und da werde ich dann die nächsten Wochen arbeiten…

Next one .. i will start to the next stay heading south , near the small village Putaruru in the Waikato District. I will live and work there in a farm family for the following weeks. They have a small native tree nursery. They grow seedlings sourced from local areas on to plant out stage. Sometimes they are planting the rivers and erosion areas with these NZ native plants to help prevent nutrients from polluting the waterways. In the past they moved to a new house which is next door to their dairy farm which is very scenic including a waterfall. There is landscape work to be done, tree nursery work and tree planting as well as an orchard and vegetable gardens. see ya alex
